Actually there are lots of beaches and campgrounds in the Kansai area.
So you might be wondering where you should visit?
It is your special holiday in Japan. Why don’t you try somewhere a bit different from anywhere else?
I picked up some beaches and camping spots for those who agree!
Do you know there are lots of islands in the Seto Sea?
Some of them are quite large and some are small.
The Seto sea is easy to get from the main cities in Kansai area.
You can enjoy those resorts so easily!
What I thought is great about going to those islands is that you can enjoy a different way of knowing Japan!
Swimming and camping on remote islands in the Kansai area shows you the beautiful nature in Japan!
You even try to do a little survival experience like camping on a desert island.

Awaji Island
Http://www.photo-ac.com/
This is the largest tourist place in the Seto Sea, Awajishima.
I want to call it the island for greedy people!
It is because you can enjoy both mountain and sea leisure there.
You cannot miss “Amanthi Coast Beach” when you go swimming in the sea.
The emerald green ocean, the atmosphere of the tropical islands and palm trees…
It is the resort!
There are showers, toilet and parking lots. It is perfect for family and a group of friends.
Recently, “Ibisu Isshio Village Beach” is also attracting a lot of tourists.
However, it is a place not listed in the general guidebook.
There are auto-camping sites near the beach. You can do BBQ, swim in the sea, then camping!
It is amazing that you have everything you need to do those.
Also, because it faces the Naruto Strait, you can enjoy the beautiful sea and the Naruto Strait Bridge at the same time!
Two birds with one stone!

Numa jima

Remote island “Numa Island” located 10 minutes by train from the Nada Terminal Center.
It is a good old Japanese countryside.
In the past, there was a dating TV program for people who wanted to marry a man from the countryside.
And this is the countryside that often came out on the program.
The island’s beach with great nature is reserved well. The water is clean and really transparent.
I am glad that facilities such as toilets and free shower are also surprisingly well prepared.
There are not many people other than the locals who enjoy the sea everyday.
The beach is not busy at all and very relaxing.
Look for fish in the sea at the sea, jump into the sea from the rock, play sports with your friends, there is a lot you can do.
However, Camping, barbecue, fireworks are prohibited.

“Tomogashima” is the name for the four islands, the uninhabited islands (Kami jima, Chino Jima, Okino shima, Tora jima)

“Okino shima” is the best among the four.
It is only 20 minutes from Kadota port in Wakayama prefecture to Okino shima by ferry.
